Rancho Relaxo Films is announcing an opportunity for filmmakers who are new
to the industry. We are inviting (would be) first time Writers, Directors,
Cinematographers, and all other film crew positions to share their creativity and
efforts in this collaborative project.
Backroads to Bisbee will be a collection of short films depicting country living,
loving, learning, playing, and working in modern day Southern Arizona.
- Each short should have a running time of between 5 and 20 minutes with a content rating of PG.
- Each short will be filmed by a different novice director and crew.
Once the shorts are completed, they will be edited together to form a feature length film.
If selected for this project you will receive:
- Free hands-on workshops in screenwriting and filmmaking.
- Free use of our Soundstage and filmmaking equipment.
- We expect to begin filming in January 2027.
- The finished project will be entered in Southeastern Film Festivals for their consideration.
- Creators will receive IMDb credits.
